Yes. We handle the DNS cutover ourselves and coordinate the timing so visitors going to your existing URL land on the new site without an outage — usually under 5 minutes of propagation. Old URLs get 301-redirected to the new structure so your existing SEO authority transfers and bookmarked links still work. If you're on a registrar like GoDaddy or Namecheap, we walk you through the access steps; if you're already on Cloudflare, even easier.

Yes. We pull the copy, images, structure, blog posts, customer testimonials, and any embedded widgets during the Discover phase — you don't retype anything you don't want to rewrite. If your existing site is on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Shopify, or basically any platform with public pages, we can scrape and reformat. We also clean up things the old site let slide: duplicate pages, broken links, image files that were 6MB and slow.

You can. We hand off plain-English documentation for the parts you'll most want to touch — pricing, events, hours, blog posts, photos. For structural changes (new pages, new sections, integrations), we do them for you under your tier's monthly allotment. If you want full edit control for everything, we can build on a lightweight headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful) instead — that's typically an Active-tier project because it adds ongoing cost.

All three tiers include: Cloudflare hosting (edge-delivered in 300+ cities, fast everywhere), automatic SSL, automated daily backups (last 30 days retained), 99.9%+ uptime monitoring with email alerts, DDoS protection at the Cloudflare layer, and form submissions piped to your inbox via Resend. No "server down" tickets, no separate hosting bill, no surprise overage charges. If your traffic ever spikes past what your tier comfortably handles, we'll tell you before you get billed for it.

Yes — that's the entire Design phase (days 1-2). You see wireframes first (the layout skeleton with no visual styling) and approve those before we move to high-fidelity mockups (the real visual design). Two rounds of revisions are included at no extra charge. Nothing gets built until you've approved the design — we don't want to spend Days 3-5 coding something you're going to ask us to change.

You do, fully. The site is built in your name, hosted under your account or ours (your choice), and you get a complete copy of the source code on request. If you ever want to take it in-house or move to another developer, you walk away with everything — design files, code, content database, the lot. 30-day notice to wind down, no exit fee, no "we own the IP" surprise.

Hosting is on Cloudflare's edge — actual downtime is rare. When something does break (a form fails, an embed breaks, a third-party widget changes), we get the monitoring alert before you do, fix it, and tell you what happened. Bug fixes during your hosting term are included in your tier; we don't bill for emergency response. Critical issues (site fully down) we treat as same-day; smaller issues land in the next monthly edit pass.

Upgrades are prorated and instant — Light → Standard adds the extra features (more pages, edit cadence, light integrations) within the current monthly cycle and you pay the difference. Same for Standard → Active. Going up never requires rebuilding from scratch; we built the foundation to scale into the next tier. Downgrades work too if your needs change, with 30-day notice.

Almost never. WordPress sites are a frequent target for security exploits, slow to load without significant tuning, and expensive to maintain over their lifetime (plugin conflicts, theme breakage, hosting upgrades). We build static-first sites — the page is rendered ahead of time and served from Cloudflare's edge — which makes them dramatically faster, more secure, and cheaper to host.
